Regional Loss Prevention Investigator

The Multi Store Investigator position has primary responsibility for detecting internal theft through proved Loss Prevention Methods. The candidate must be self motivated and have the ability to travel. The candidate must have experience in internal theft detection, investigative interviewing, apprehension and loss prevention in a fast paced environment. A varied work schedule is required to successfully meet the demands of the position.

The investigator will report directly to the District Loss Prevention Manager and have an indirect reporting relationship with the Store Management teams. The investigator will coordinate all aspects of incident investigation involving real or potential loss under the supervision of the District Loss Prevention Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:
Including, but not limited to:
Perform all aspects of internal theft investigations
Utilize state of the art CCTV (Digital Data Catch System or other digital systems)
Review of Exception Reports for Internal theft detection and operational risk assessment.
Maintaining and testing physical security equipment (Locks, EAS, alarms, etc)
AM/PM sweeps to pin point theft exposure
Periodic overnight surveillance as it relates to active investigations
Involved in shrinkage elimination programs as directed by Regional Loss Prevention Team or District Loss Prevention Manager
Supervision of Store Detective and Uniformed Guard staff assigned to store locations.
Perform additional duties as needed by Regional Loss Prevention (i.e. integrity shopping, investigations)
